OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
The “Free Wings for a Year” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Sherlock Holmes Pub Campus, Edmonton, Alberta (the “Sponsor”).
By entering the contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.
1. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on September 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and closes on September 3, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. (the “Contest Period”).
Entries received after 5:00 p.m. MT on September 3, 2026 will not be eligible.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Alberta who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, directors and representatives of Sherlock Holmes Hospitality Group and its affiliated businesses, as well as members of their immediate households, are not eligible to enter.
The Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of age, identity and eligibility.
3. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
4. HOW TO ENTER
During the Contest Period, eligible entrants may enter by:
Scanning the Contest QR code;
Completing and submitting the official online Contest entry form;
Providing all required information on the form; and
Agreeing to these Official Contest Rules.
There is a limit of one (1) entry per eligible person during the Contest Period.
Duplicate entries, entries submitted using multiple identities or accounts, automated entries, fraudulent entries and entries that do not comply with these Official Contest Rules may be disqualified at the Sponsor's discretion.
There is no cost to submit an entry other than any standard internet or mobile data charges that may be charged by the entrant's service provider.
5. GRAND PRIZE
There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won.
The Grand Prize consists of:
FREE WINGS FOR ONE YEAR – one (1) regular basket/order of wings per week for fifty-two (52) consecutive weeks.
Each weekly wing order has an approximate retail value of $20 CAD.
The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is: $1,040 CAD.
The Grand Prize is subject to the following conditions:
Maximum of one (1) eligible order of wings per week.
The prize provides a maximum of fifty-two (52) orders of wings.
Unused weekly orders do not accumulate or carry forward.
Multiple weeks cannot be combined or redeemed at once.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
The prize is non-transferable and may only be redeemed by the confirmed winner.
No cash or credit will be provided for any unused portion of the prize.
Additional food, beverages, upgrades, substitutions, add-ons and gratuities are not included.
The prize is subject to restaurant operating hours and product availability.
The prize is valid for fifty-two (52) consecutive weeks beginning on the redemption start date provided to the confirmed winner.
Any portion of the prize not redeemed before the applicable expiry date will be forfeited.
The prize is redeemable at Sherlock Holmes Campus only.
The winner may be required to provide identification when redeeming the prize.
The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize or any portion of it with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control make the advertised prize unavailable.
6. ODDS OF WINNING
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won.
7. WINNER SELECTION
Following the close of the Contest, one (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The draw will take place on or before Monday, September 7, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta.
The selected entrant will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number provided on their Contest entry form.
8. SKILL-TESTING QUESTION
Before being declared the official winner and receiving the Grand Prize, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor.
Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question will result in the selected entrant being disqualified and another eligible entrant may be randomly selected.
9. WINNER CONFIRMATION
To be declared the official winner, the selected entrant must:
Meet all eligibility requirements;
Be successfully contacted by the Sponsor;
Correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question;
Provide proof of identity, age and eligibility if requested;
Agree to comply with these Official Contest Rules; and
Complete any declaration, release or prize-acceptance documentation reasonably required by the Sponsor.
The selected entrant will have five (5) business days from the Sponsor's first attempt to contact them to respond.
If the selected entrant:
Cannot be contacted;
Does not respond within the required period;
Does not meet the eligibility requirements;
Does not correctly answer the skill-testing question;
Declines the prize; or
Otherwise fails to comply with these Official Contest Rules,
the selected entrant will be disqualified and the Sponsor may randomly select another eligible entrant from the remaining eligible entries.
This process may be repeated until an eligible winner is confirmed.
10. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
The winner is expected to be announced on Monday, September 7, 2026, once the selected entrant has been successfully contacted, has correctly answered the skill-testing question and has been confirmed as the official winner.
If winner verification has not been completed by that date, the announcement may be delayed until an eligible winner has been confirmed.
The winner may be announced through Sherlock Holmes Hospitality Group's website, social media accounts and/or other promotional channels.
11. USE OF WINNER'S NAME AND LIKENESS
Where permitted by law, by accepting the Grand Prize, the confirmed winner agrees that the Sponsor may announce their first name and last initial in connection with the Contest.
Any additional use of the winner's photograph, image, likeness or other personal information for promotional purposes will be subject to any consent required by applicable law.
12. PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY
Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used for purposes related to administering the Contest, including verifying eligibility, contacting the selected entrant, awarding the prize and otherwise administering the Contest.
Contest entry does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications from the Sponsor.
Where entrants are offered the opportunity to receive future promotional or marketing communications, that consent will be requested separately and will not be required as a condition of entering the Contest.
13. GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who:
Violates these Official Contest Rules;
Attempts to enter more times than permitted;
Provides false or misleading information;
Uses automated or fraudulent methods to enter;
Attempts to interfere with the operation or administration of the Contest; or
Acts in a manner that the Sponsor reasonably determines compromises the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted or otherwise invalid entries or for technical, internet, website, QR code, telecommunications, hardware or software problems that may prevent an entry from being properly submitted.
If the Contest cannot be conducted as originally planned due to circumstances beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control, the Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, extend or modify the Contest in a manner that preserves the fairness and integrity of the Contest.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Sponsor and its affiliates, employees, representatives and agents will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Grand Prize, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Official Contest Rules limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
15. APPLICABLE LAW
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

17. OFFICIAL RULES
These Official Contest Rules will be made available to entrants without requiring a purchase or Contest entry.
In the event of any discrepancy between these Official Contest Rules and any Contest advertising or promotional materials, these Official Contest Rules will govern, subject to applicable law.
