"Walker Duo"

"Justin Walker" born and raised near Marshall, Saskatchewan is a Singer-Songwriter, guitar player, fiddle player and former music teacher, who has been performing in and around the Lloydminster/ Vermillion area since 2009.

Justin moved to the Edmonton area in late 2023 where he began performing as a duo alongside his wife "Amie Weymes"; solo musician and lead singer of the band AWATAB.

Primarily a folk musician, his style might be best described as a mix of east coast, celtic and country.

"Amie (Weymes) Walker" is born and raised in Ireland, where her father introduced her to the greatest of classic rock and country and that’s what Amie cut her teeth on. In her early twenties she took to the road and began performing in local pubs and venues in the midlands areas of Ireland.

In Amie’s younger years she was involved in school choirs, performing arts activities and dance routines at school events while taking to singing in a country fashion and self-taught guitar in her early 20’s.

After an extensive single/duo career in Ireland, Amie relocated to Edmonton in 2012 and has wowed E-town audiences since.

A sultry, yet powerful voice, Amie’s versatility and passion shine through, whether she’s performing rock, pop, country or her Celtic favs.

Amie was a Nashville NorthStar Finalist at the Calgary Stampede 2013 where she was selected to compete by a panel of Judges from the Canadian Country Music Association. Amie was a top 6 finalist where she performed on the same stage as some of the biggest names in Canadian Country Music. As well as managing a solo/duo career she has been performing with her band, Amie Weymes and The Atta Boys "AWATAB" since forming in late 2014.

"Walker" Duo will be performing in the Edmonton and surrounding areas.
